Before we will accept any new member…
We ask that all potentially new Nest Members attend two of our regularly monthly scheduled meetings at Main Street Tower.
Make sure to
check in with our Sign in committee. You will need to sign in as proof
that you’ve attended meetings, all members do this.
Turn in your application at your first meeting so we are aware of your intentions to join and so that our membership committee can contact you so they can officially welcome you and answer any of your questions.
After your second meeting, it will be put to a vote on the floor if the members of our group wish to accept you as a member. All those in favor will respond “Aye”. All those not in favor will respond “Nay”.
Once voted in, you will pay your Annual Dues and then will begin to pay the Monthly Meeting Fee for all future meetings that you attend. Membership requirements state that any member must attend at least 4 meetings a year. And that you must do one “Good of the Nest”. Which can be anything from volunteering at the Golf Tournament to attending the Scholarship Banquet, etc.
After you are a member for one year, you can volunteer to be in charge of a committee.
